How to use this tool

  1. Choose a supported file from your device.
  2. Inspect the detected metadata and review the cleanup limits below.
  3. Use removal mode to clean supported metadata, then inspect and download the result. In viewer mode, export the inspection report instead.

Supported cleanup and limits

Supported formats are JPEG, PNG, WebP, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, MP3, FLAC, MP4 and MOV. Each format has a specific cleanup scope; this service does not promise to remove every possible identifier.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Supported files are inspected and cleaned inside this browser tab. Processing libraries are bundled with the site. The interface font is loaded from Google Fonts.

Does a clean report mean my file is anonymous?

No. A clean report means no metadata within the supported cleanup scope was detected after processing. Unknown tags, filenames and visible contents may still identify you.

How many files can I clean?

Up to 10 files per batch, 200 MB per file and 100 MB per batch. Download files separately or together as a ZIP.
